A little bit about me: I've been living in Cozad for about 29 years and working in Lexington at Homestead bank for the last few. I started on helping Kristen and Eli out at the Tap House when they opened and continue to fill in here and there.
When I'm not working you can find me walking my pup, volunteering throughout various organizations in Cozad and Lexington, trying to wrangle in my nieces or just spending time with my family.
FUN FACT: Today is my birthday! You'll find me celebrating at Trivia tonight at my favorite place to eat MTH - where I'lll probably be ordering my favorite dish - the Big Porker Wrap!

hey Cozad!! Gracie White checking in. Cozad has been my home for a little over a year now but I've been working at the Tap for just over 2 years thanks to my awesome sauce of a boss Kristen Bennett.
I really enjoy and appreciate the sweet, sometimes salty faces Cozad brings to us; at not only the Tap but all the places here.
The local Thrift store has got to be my favorite spot to shop of course. Not only do they have everyone's so called junk, but some of my most loved treasures have been found there and many more great finds to come.
Let's talk food: When I'm hungry what am I eating? Its a struggle - so lucky me I can make my own. My most loved treat is a combo because i can't ever decide which I want more... the brisket pita or the popper pita ( don't tell kristen, or ever try to order one for yourself :)) Check it out in the comments!

When Shelby was working on buying the bar from Trav she spent countless lunches planning at the tap. I was so excited for her. I still am.
Here's what I know. My ice machine breaks down, I take a cart over and fill it from hers. A credit card reader is on the fritz, send someone over. Straws? Napkins? Shot cups? Contacts? YES to all the above.
Here's what I also know: We've been partnering up for the Down Town Run Around for years! Last year we helped with our first car show. When Shelby has a full house due to a pool/dart tournament - WE get business for lunch or supper. When we have a bit of a wait line or someone's looking for a drink - we send them across the street to Big Es.
So, what are these two girls up to on a Monday late afternoon in March? You can bet it has something to do with fencing, music, drinks and that hometown collaboration!

Hey! It's Lisa! I've been at the Tap House since before it even opened; helping Kristen with contacts, ideas and just offering a listening ear. A Colorado native; I've lived in Cozad for 35 years, 24 of those have been spent as a dispatcher for Dawson County. Fishing, gambling and bowling are my favorite pass times as well as hanging with friends and family. When I'm not working at the Tap House, I'm ordering take out from there - my go to being the prime rib or the dragon philly! Great team to work with.

Hi! I'm Libby Bennett and this is my sidekick, Penny. I've lived in Cozad for the past 18 years; while this may not seem all that long to you, to me it seems like a lifetime.
I've just recently bought my own home here in town and look forward to updating and learning some carpentry skills from my dad.
I don't do much shopping but one thing I do is read and I love our local library, Wilson Public Library- and all the people that work there. The Tap House has been my place of work for the last 5 years - I helped get it up and running; and my go to meal there is the Bloody Mary Burger - cooked medium, made complete with a Root Beer.
I've just recently bought my own home here in town and look forward to updating and learning some carpentry skills from my dad.

I think that when you decide to be a part of your community; through whatever avenue fits your life; you realize how much you have to offer and how partnerships really do make you stronger. I absolutely love my time with the Ambassadors and am really enjoying my time serving on the Chamber board.
