Karlie Buss next to cut out of Grinch for the promotion "You've been Grinched" Led by the Haymaker Creative District.

The "You've Been Grinched Holiday Fundraiser," organized by Creative District Coordinator Karlie Buss, achieved significant success with 57 participants, including 29 donors and 28 recipients. The fundraiser, which aimed for a $5,000 goal, raised $1,750 for a community projector. Buss creatively presented the fundraiser during a Community Chat at the Wilson Public Library, involving Grinch characters sent to recipients' homes and businesses. The initiative generated excitement and community engagement, with the Haymaker Creative District's Facebook page becoming a central hub for updates on the Grinches' journey. Buss expressed gratitude to the Creative District committee and collaborating businesses. The funds raised will contribute to acquiring a projector, enhancing the Creative District's offerings, including graphic art displays, material promotions, and movie nights. The success of the fundraiser reflects the community's commitment to supporting the arts, and upcoming projects, like the Cozad Welcome Garden unveiling on January 15, continue the district's creative journey.
