Mickies restaurant

The Cozad City Council's meeting on January 22 was routine but productive. The 15-minute session included approving a liquor license for Mickies restaurant to expand its services, waiving taxes for the Cozad Housing Authority, and approving minutes from the previous meeting. Mickies sought a Class I liquor license for alcohol service, a first for the establishment. The council granted the license. The Cozad Housing Authority received tax waivers for March 2025, a practice in place for about 30 years, to support its community service. The council expressed gratitude and approved the waiver. The next meeting is scheduled for February 5, with community members encouraged to attend and provide feedback.
