150th Committee awarded Distinguished Service Award

The Cozad Chamber Mixer held at the Cozad Country Club was a resounding success, drawing a large crowd and featuring awards presentations. Chamber Director Jordan Starman expressed surprise at the turnout, indicating a strong community presence. The event featured a buffet by Meridian Tap House and Busy Bee Cheesecakes, with an open bar for guests. Awards were presented to the Cozad’s 150th Committee for Distinguished Service and Meridian Tap House for Business of the Year. Owner Kristen Bennett thanked the community for their support and acknowledged the contributions of her team and youth employees. The event also saw speeches from various speakers, concluding with thanks to all involved and the announcement of the 2024 Cozad Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and committees. Starman highlighted the Chamber Mixer as a revitalized tradition aimed at fostering community engagement and invited all to participate in upcoming events.
