Rick Esslinger, a Cozad resident, was honored as the Ag Employee of the Year at the Lexington Area Chamber of Commerce’s 2024 Chamber and Ag Banquet on February 23. The event, themed "A Better Life," celebrated individuals, businesses, and agriculture for their contributions to the Lexington community. Esslinger, a native of Lexington, has been dedicated to his work since graduating from Lexington High School in 1982. Over the years, he has demonstrated loyalty and hard work, starting as a station attendant and eventually becoming the manager at Country Partners Cooperative. In 2018, he was promoted to station manager at the Lexington Car Care Center. Heather Heinemann, Executive Director of the Lexington Chamber of Commerce, praised Esslinger's dedication and customer service. Esslinger's colleagues and family also commend his commitment to his work and his willingness to assist others. He expresses gratitude for his time with Country Partners Cooperative and looks forward to continuing his work.
