Kids hunting eggs at CCL egg hunt

The Cozad Community Leaders (CCL), formerly the Cozad Jaycees, organized another successful Easter Egg Hunt, a cherished community tradition. With over a decade of history, the event brings families together and provides children with an enjoyable egg-hunting experience. The CCL ensures the event's success by generously providing eggs using proceeds from sponsorships. Preparation for this year's hunt, led by Ashley Stithem and Co-Chair Alyssa Fisher, involved purchasing 4,000 eggs three months in advance. The CCL invites community members to join their initiatives through Facebook and monthly meetings. The Easter egg holds symbolic meaning, representing renewal and hope across cultural and religious backgrounds. Through their dedication, the CCL ensures this beloved tradition endures for future generations.
