The Cozad Community Foundation (CCF) celebrated a successful Red Day on March 23, raising an impressive $68,750 towards their goal of completing the softball/baseball complex. The event drew around 150 attendees who participated enthusiastically in a spirited auction, with notable items like a Louisville Slugger baseball bat and a hand-painted Cozad sign fetching significant bids.
Despite having raised around $2.6 million of their $4 million goal, CCF Chair Robyn Geiser emphasized the ongoing need for fundraising to fulfill their vision. The community's unity and collaboration continue to drive the foundation's efforts forward, highlighting a shared commitment to building a vibrant future for Cozad.
