Wildlife Encounters returns to the Cozad Community Wellness Center this year on Friday, May 23 at 2pm as part of Wilson Public Library’s collaboration with a UNL biodiversity project. Sponsored by the Cozad Library Foundation, tickets for this free event may be picked up at the library beginning May 1. You must have a ticket to enter the event this year

In this 40-minute program, animal adaptations, history, geography, and cool facts about each animal will be discussed in an exciting, interactive, and educational format. Kids and adults will be inspired to pick up a book and read about each of these amazing creatures.

This event is appropriate for pre-K and up. Those under 8 should be accompanied by an adult. The Cozad Community Wellness Center is located at 210 E. 16th Street.
